Saracen Active do not offer refunds for missed classes or changes of mind. Refunds for classes will be considered at the discretion of Saracen Active for severe medical conditions with supporting doctors certificate that prevent a child from continuing in the classes safely for the remainder of the term. In these cases an administration fee of 250QR will be charged in addition to the cost of the classes already attended.
After registering, a child is unable to change classes following the start of the term. If there are medical reasons that prevent a child from participating safely in one class, but participation is possible in another class, Saracen Active will consider transferring children, space permitting, in the new class. A fee of 250QR will also be charged in these cases.
Please note that term fees will not be reduced for children who start the course later than the advertised start date.
On some occasions, enrollment numbers may not be sufficient to run a course for the term. In this instance, the parents will be contacted to either transfer the child to another course or the full amount paid will be refunded.
If a class needs to be cancelled due to teacher absence or facility unavailability, a make-up class will be offered throughout the term at a time and date arranged by the individual coach. This may be in the form of an extra week at the end of the school term prior to children breaking for holidays. Class cancellations will be advised to parents via a telephone call as soon as Saracen Active is aware of the need for cancellation.
Photographs and / or videos will not be taken of any child taking part in sporting activities for promotional purposes on the Saracen Active website, social media, press releases, articles, and newsletters without the consent of the parent and in accordance with child safeguarding guidelines.
The registrant, or the parent/guardian of a registrant in the case of a particpating child under 18, will not hold Saracen Active or the School responsible for any personal accident or loss which may occur during any Saracen Active activity or event that he/she may participate in.
